Five Food and Wine Festivals in 2022

Located in some of the most beautiful and vibrant places in America, these epicurean fetes bring together superstar chefs, mixologists, and wine makers for cool collaborations and epic feasts—ideal spots for the best vacations for food lovers. They’re also packed with informative lectures, musical performances, fun competitions, and drool-worthy food and wine pairings.

South Beach Wine & Food Festival

February 24-27, 2022 | Miami Beach, FL

The toughest thing about this buzzy bacchanal? Choosing which of the more than 110 events to attend. Meals at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival have been prepared by notable chefs such as Thomas Keller, Michael White, Marcus Samuelsson, Paul Qui, and Melba Wilson. Wine lovers can partake in tastings with some of the region’s most respected producers, and creative events like BubbleQ, a Champagne and barbecue pairing, are sure to satisfy all palettes.

Aspen Food & Wine Classic

June 2022 | Aspen, CO

What started in 1982 as an informal gathering of chefs, restaurant owners, mixologists, and purveyors has become a prestigious, trend-setting food fest. The Aspen Food & Wine Classic goes beyond three days of non-stop eating and drinking—an estimated 10,000 bottles of wine are consumed each year—and offers attendees a chance to learn everything from the secret of mixing up the perfect Italian apertivos to how to build an authentic New England clam bake. The full 2022 schedule will be released later this year.

Stay in one of the Club’s five residences at The Timbers Club in nearby Snowmass. NYC Wine and Food Festival

October 2022 | New York City, NY

Each year, New York’s premiere wine and food experience brings together more than 500 of the industry’s top professionals for a four-day homage to all things edible and drinkable. Although the 2022 NYC Wine and Food Festival schedule has yet to be released, past festivals have taken advantage of New York’s unique energy to put on such unique soirees as a walkabout drag brunch with performances by NYC drag queen superstars, a bread master class at the city’s famed Sullivan Street Bakery, and a Broadway-inspired brunch with actress Kristin Chenowith.

Pacific Wine and Food Classic

October 1, 2022 | Newport Beach, CA

Located on a pristine beach on Newport Bay, the Pacific Wine and Food Classic brings together dozens of Orange County chefs for a two-day celebration of the area’s red-hot foodie scene. Beyond specialty pairings like Prosecco with oysters, Wagyu sliders with California cabernets and the classic caviar and Champagne, tasting stations will highlight the bounty of the region with fresher-than-fresh seafood, just-picked produce, and flavors from around the world.

Offering a setting as stunning as the culinary delights offered, the Big Sur Food & Wine Festival highlights the work of chefs, purveyors, and foragers from across the U.S., as well as more than 50 wineries and Champagne houses. Highlights include “Magical Mystery Tours,” a series of intimate half-day events held at undisclosed locations, including wineries and glamorous private homes; winemakers dinners; and a wrap-up Wine & Swine dance party at The Henry Miller Library.
