Intern, Events and Brand Activation
JOB SUMMARY:
The Events Intern will assist with various aspects of event planning, including planning, budgeting event metrics tracking, communications, and post-event reconciliation. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning and management, working alongside seasoned professionals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the development, execution, and management of events and brand activation programs to connect with our members and engage prospective members
- Manage the events calendar, ensuring that all events are scheduled, and relevant details are updated
- Help track, measure, and report metrics across event marketing efforts
- Conduct research and provide recommendations for event venues and vendors, such as catering and audio-visual requirements
- Facilitate payments for event-related expenses
- Assist with event communications such as invites, registration, confirmations, post-event follow-ups, etc.
- Manage event collateral and submit swag orders
- Assist with other event-related tasks as needed
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Intermediate to expert-level knowledge of Excel
- Excellent project management and organization skills (Asana knowledge helpful)
- Remote, NYC area preferred
